    Description

    This
    is a collection of 100+ pieces of mosaic tiles hand cut from vintage ironstone china.
    This collection is from a Royal Essex Shakespeare’s Country piece. Made in England, it features a country cottage scene. There are swirled and scalloped rims on this piece. The focal piece features a country cottage with figures in the foreground.
    The pieces are hand cut to appropriate 1/2” to 1” (see ruler in photos for size comparison, not included with the tiles☺️).  A
    verage thickness is approximately 1/8” to 1/4”. Tiles lay mostly flat. Tiles are not square. They are as shown, in irregular, various shapes. All of the pieces have color on them. There is some crazing and light browning on some of the pieces, see photos.
    The focal piece measures approximately 2” x 2 1/2”.
