    Description

    Rare C1903 cabinet photo of Cheyenne chief Mad Wolf. Saunders Bros. operated out of Oklahoma Territory and Texas, and though not stated on the cabinet mount I would guess this photo to have been taken in O.T. as that is where Mad Wolf would have lived.
    Condition is good overall. The image is near perfect with excellent contrast and clarity. The mount has some damage, namely what looks to be rebuilt corner (lower left) and additional dings. ID's on front and back in pen with other pencil writing. Please see large scans with the listing.
