    The doll itself measures approx. 18" tall, wooden base adds 1".
    Very good pre-owned condition.   A little dust.
    Ellen Turner (1933 - 1965) was an American doll artist from North Carolina.   She created dolls that reminded her of people from Appalachia & the western North Carolina mountains.  She was a member of the Southern Highlands Handicraft Guild & NIADA.  Her dolls have been displayed in the Lourve & the Smithsonian.
