    Description

    The socket axe was developed during the Bronze Age to penetrate armor with great force.  This axe head was constructed to slide over the shaft of at pole and secured.  It was both used as a domestic tool and close combat weapon. This axe head was hand forged out for iron and currently comes with an edge but will have to be honed to your liking.
