Monica Monika Mechling Porcelain Racheal Lady Doll OOAK Dress Artist Proof 1991

Description

One of Monika Mechling's very early lady dolls that she named Racheal. Typically made in sets of 35. I believe the outfit is OOAK. There may be other similar type Racheal's, but this one is not part of a numbered set, as far as I know. She is made of a porcelain head, hands, and feet; the rest of the body is a soft material. She comes with her stand and artist proof. Purchased from Gigi's Dolls, the artist signature is on the doll. AP on the back stands for artist proof. The artist started making dolls in 1989, moved on to sculpture, and starting making them again in a limited fashion in the last few years. This doll is from 1991 and among the earlier batches.
Racheal is approximately 21 inches tall.
She comes from a smoke free home and is in excellent condition.
