Description
A great looking black and white Large Format Photograph of an Native American Indian Chief from an original glass plate 1880s to 1890s negative. It is professionally framed, with two acid free mats, and anti-fade resistant plexiglass. Wood frame in gray color. The black and white photograph has a metal hanger on back and ready to hang in your home or office. Overall the frame measures 13 1/4“ x 11 1/2“. Part of photo that is visible under the mat is 9 1/2“ x 7 3/4 inches. The clarity of the studio photo is amazing and striking looking. Photo is in near perfect condition---any lines or marks you see in photo is just glare when we took the pictures to show you; no marks or lines on actual photo. It has just about everything you want from a Chiefs photograph: feathered war bonnet, ermine drops on each side, peace metal around the neck, wearing a blanket, holding tobacco pipe, with a beaded tobacco or pipe bag, etc. It is a high gloss quality photograph I had made from an original 1880s glass slide and negative. From the 1880s or 1980s. No identification of chief. I do not remember the studio if it was on the slide. See all photos as no returns. This would look great on your home wall or office.
