A rare historical photograph from renown photographer Henry Buehman's personal photographs, and photographed by him.  This photo has never before been offered for sale. It was privately purchased directly from Buehman's granddaughter, Lucy, in the 1980's.
This important photo of a Native American Navajo rug weaver shows her with her children watching under the shade of a small tree.  The photo has much contrast of light, but the faces can be seen better with magnification.  The rug weaver is also turned showing her face.
This glossy black and white glossy photo measures 9 7/8 inches wide by 6 1/2 inches, and is very yellowed from age.
There is a vertical crease left of center from top to base of the photo, and a small horizontal crease in upper right corner, both can be seen in the photos.  The photograph has been stored in a clear plastic top loader for many years, but has typical surface scratching, scuffs and indents of an old photo.  There is also a brown moisture stain at the lower left corner that shows through to the reverse.  This photo has a 1/4 inch border all the way around.  There is no writing on the reverse.
