    Description
From my old store in Alexandria, Virginia (Old Town Coin & Jewelry - we were located on King St. and S. Union St. for 33 years), a silver British (or British Empire) 6 pence for wearing in a brides right shoe on her wedding day. We sold hundreds of these over the years, these 12 are the remainder (I recently found them tucked away). The oldest here is dated 1816 (mad King George III !), the latest are from the W.W. 2 era. 6 pence ceased being made from silver after 1945 in the UK, they were struck from silver in Australia until the mid 1950's. If you have a date that's meaningful, I will try to accomodate you ( a year that an older family member was born , died or was married perhaps) - I also have several from Australia and New Zealand. 12 are available, this auction is for one (1) - see condition above.  Still unsure ? Check my feedback. Free fully insured shipping to the USA. .95 shipping to countries I ship to - I do not ship to Italy. If paypal is a problem let me know & we'll work something out.  I combine lots to save shipping costs, thank you for looking & good luck.
    Payment
Paypal is ok, as are other forms of payment (inquire).  If you need a little time to pay, please let me know up front so I won't file a non-payment claim against you.
    Shipping
Shipping costs are generally in the lot description. I use a secure "Safety Mailer" to ship a small number of coins, and a larger padded envelope or priority flat rate boxes for quantity lots. I don't gouge on shipping but I charge a wee bit over the actual postage to cover these costs and cover the 13.5% commission that eBay and PayPal charge me for shipping. I sometimes refund some shipping in cash if I can (if I like your profile & feedback).. I sometimes ship to countries not listed, please email me to confirm.
    Terms of Sale
We would all like to be paid a nanosecond after the auction closes, however if you need a little time let me know. If you would like to wait after winning a lot & combine it with an upcoming lot (saves shipping) let me know. If you want to pick up lots locally (and save shipping) let me know. I accept alternative payment venues to Paypal & sometimes share the savings, email if you need to. I am easy to do business with - I make any mistakes or errors good.
Unfortunately I block bidders that I feel uncomfortable doing business with (unfair feedback, unreasonable returns, fraudulant undelivered lot claims, ect.).
I share blocked bidder lists with other dealers.
